FRATELLIFELIX
Bone dry, saline notes with hints of tropical fruits. Fratelli Felix is a collaboration between Jack & Bruno (of Vigneti Tardis) and Les Caves de Pyrene. This negoce project sources grapes from sustainable growers in Campania and aims to offer honest, excellent value wines made in the Vigneti Tardis way. In 2023, Bruno & Jack hope to create a red wine under this label using ancient Campanian varietals – so watch this space!
Miopasso Fiano makes an excellent aperitif wine but will also work well with appetizers and snacks. If you want to pair it with a more substantial meal go for shellfish in sauce, roast chicken or baked fish.
Fiano wine always tastes best when chilled before serving. Aim for around 10-12 degrees centigrade, any colder and the wine will taste acidic. If it is too warm you’ll lose all those wonderful aromas. Chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours or use an ice bucket. You should also serve it in a long stemmed wine glass to prevent any heat from your hand warming the wine as you hold it.
