Sarsaparilla is a classic soft drink that was very popular during the Temperance Movement when alcohol was banned. Poetic License have created a great twist on this old favourite by mixing it with Old Tom gin to create a super gin liqueur.
You’ll find tastes of aniseed, liquorice and vanilla in this liqueur that is sweet and subtle fruity with a hint of caramelised nuts and spicy cinnamon. Full of wonderful, nostalgic flavours that remind us a summers’ day on the beach, this liqueur would make a great gift for gin lovers.
How To Drink A Gin Liqueur
Gin liqueur cocktails are a great way to use these fantastic drinks. Combine with prosecco or sparkling wine for a gin fizz cocktail or mix with a scoop or two of ice cream in a highball glass for a delicious, refreshing summer dessert. Rather than tonic water, use soda water as a gin liqueur mixer, or enjoy it on it’s own poured over ice to delight in all those gorgeous tastes.
Poetic License Sarsaparilla Gin Liqueur comes from the UK Based Poetic License distillery in Sunderland, North East England.
This is a 50cl bottle with a percentage ABV of 21%
