If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if beer and wine had a baby, this is probably as close as you’re going to get. Mixing the processes and flavour profiles of the two drinks is a bold experiment, but Wild Beer Co have pulled this one off.
The tannic and acidic flavours come from the Chardonnay and Reichensteiner skins the beer was fermented on. After fermentation it was aged in oak foudres for 4 months with added wine lees to further the flavour development.
Rated 3.9 on Untappd and described as delicate, light and effervescent by beer lovers across the country. For an experimental beer, we’d say that’s a very strong rating & well worth adding to your basket.
